Why a full thyroid panel instead of just TSH?
TSH alone misses a lot. Free T3 and free T4 show how much active hormone is actually available to your cells, and antibodies flag autoimmune thyroiditis. We order what's clinically useful, not just what's cheap to bill.
Do I need a referral?
No referral is required for the evaluation. If your insurance requires one for certain labs, our front desk will help you navigate that.
